Nike Young Athletes | Instagram Channel Launch

Millions of young athletes passionately follow Nike products and athletes–but there has never been a channel specifically devoted to them. We were asked to help launch @nikeyoungathletes on Instagram by inspiring user-generated content. Hundreds of Young Athletes filmed “I’m So Fast” videos with footage capturing their fastest moves. Nike customized each young athlete’s video by adding so fast visual effects. These videos became content for the Nike Young Athletes Instagram feed. Football phenom Sam Gordon kicked things off with a video on her YouTube and Facebook channels. Nike athletes and influencers joined in by creating some fast videos of their own. Pre-filmed seed videos were posted to get Young Athletes started. Clicking a link in our bio also gave a quick how-to at Nike.com. Young Athletes posted fast videos showing skills across all sports. Followers increased 8 times to over 42k in 7 days. 3,000 total comments across all videos. Average likes per video were 4,000. ​​
