Whole Foods Market-Teaser Outdoor, New Markets

In established markets, everyone knows who Whole Foods is, but in undeveloped markets, there is still a lot of mystique. We established an outdoor teaser campaign to create buzz around the areas that the retailer was opening up new stores. It was an easy template approach so their internal design team could take and recreate for all new markets throughout the country. For 3 weeks before opening, there would be halves of items around the metro area of the new location. Then one week before the grand opening, we would reveal that beyond what you thought Whole Foods was about, you were only getting half the story. You need to get the whole experience, on the opening date. The opening in Milwaukee had people lined up around the block before the doors opened!
