The objective of the COMFORT campaign at La Guardia Airport’s Terminal B was to generate awareness for all the shops and restaurants found before security. Travel has always been a somewhat stressful experience, especially with the recent increase in airport security. Feeling comfortable is a universal desire for all travelers. The COMFORT Campaign creates an equal-opportunity invitation that everyone can enjoy—from the business traveler to the fearful novice. Due to the info-heavy nature of airports and typical business-traveler focused communications, the art direction is simplicity and boldness. Cartoon-style illustrations are used to make an emotional connection with the travelers—warm feelings, smiles and laughter.
