_Attendees of NeoCon, the National Exposition of Contract Furnishings, at Chicago's Merchandise Mart were treated to a colossal surprise upon their arrival at the commercial interiors design trade show: A giant multi-colored, multi-faceted sculpture suspended from the ceiling.

_The 30-foot, 1,380-pound sculpture, titled "Escalator Canopy" was created for the textile design company Wolf-Gordon.

_"Escalator Canopy," a temporary, site-specific creation, is composed of over 250 sides covered in over 500 yards of various upholstery textiles, mirrors and wall coverings.
